Old diver, newly certified. Took my PADI curriculum 20+ years ago. Shady instructor took off before open water check out dives..Have dove off and on with credentialed buddies. Finally got off my duff and went to see Jim at Fantasea Scuba in PC. Feels good to have the "Ticket' all my pertinent stuff is in my profile. Warm waters and Good Viz my new friends

All right, Brad is on board....... April, you and Larry need to quit being Lurkers and get your O/W......... We could have have one heck of a Group for Dive Buddies.

HA! We start Friday in Venice at ScubaQuest!!! simmer down.... :dork2:
We are obviously both excited or I wouldn't be lurking and reading... of course I don't understand all of what I read yet... :)

Small world these scuba boards... :blinking: I wouldn't mind a group of dive buddies for sure!! Especcially with experience Yale!

Going on dives with more experienced divers is a great way to learn and get more experience yourself. I'm at a Master Diver level with SSI and may soon take my Dive Con course, which is kind of an Assist. Instuctor level.

We will head up to Venice Beach when you all get done. That's a great place for newbies. Easy shore entry and you can search for the ever elusive Megladon (Meg) Shark Tooth............:D
