Hey guy and gals how's it going?
I started diving one year ago and got my PADI license in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt while on spring break. I did a hand full of pool dives and 5 or 6 open water dives to get my open water diver permit. Yesterday I got back from Cancun where I dove 4 times, 2 of them at Cozumel. I'm just a beginner and hope to learn as much as I can on here. I have a cheap mask and a busted snorkel so hopefully I can get more experience and more dives under my belt. Anyways this looks like a cool site and hope to hang around
Jeff

I'm hitting up Cozumel and Cancun in July. Where did you dive in Cancun....did you like it?

Jeff, welcome to SB. There is quite a bit of information here. Please be sure to check it all out before making expensive gear purchases. The basic scuba forum is a great place to start too.

Dive safe.

in Cancun I dove on the horseshoe reef and it was great. saw a 6 foot shark and lots of lobsters and other cool looking fish. sorry i dont know the names of them all because im new to this whole thing but it was a lot of fun.
I wont be buying any gear for a long time, rentals are just fine for what im doing.
