Hi all,

Thought I'd join up along with my other half Jean, hopefully to find lots of useful diving info and participate in the Dive community :)

We both learned in Cyprus recently, gaining our PADI Open Water Diver certs with Latchi Watersports Centre there. Really enjoyed it with the water temp being 26degC at 18M there about a month ago with excellent visibility all around - saw lots of Coral and various underwater species but ultimately we both want to get to the wrecks so have since joined up with Aquatron at home in Scotland and have started our PADI Advanced course, having just completed our Drysuit speciality this weekend :cool2:

Will be good to be able to go deeper - think we get to 30M as part of the Advanced course? Then it's a case of dives logged to go deeper again up to the PADI 40M limit? Concerned about this as most of the Wrecks seem to start around 30M under.

Cheers,

Brian.

thanks for the mention ....glad you enjoyed the course. nathan for latchi watersports..(sorry its taken two years to post :-).....)

Brian, welcome to the boards. I love Scottish humor. I spent a couple weeks in Scotland several years ago. It was a very enjoyable time with a great people. I discovered I'm actually related to David I. Don't bother bowing, I'm over it. LOL.

Again welcome!

Mitchell
