I have looked around the site bfore what should I know ?

Hi Brennan,

Welcome to Scubaboard. I am a relatively new member myself, so I cannot give you too much advice. One thing that I found useful was to go to the main forums page (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/), and look at the various categories (e.g., "Regional Travel and Dive Clubs", "The Equipment of Scuba Diving", etc.). That way, you will know where to look for information, and also, where to post messages, too. Also, play around with the advanced search engine. It is pretty good, but it takes a little bit of practice to use it effectively. Also, do not be discouraged if you post a message with a question and do not get a reply. Sometimes the people with the answers simply are not looking at the board at the time you post the question, and sometimes you have to search around to find the best board for the post.

Have fun, and beware, Scubaboard is addictive.

Erwin ;)
