El Orans:
Lonely Planet has at least one.

I know, I have ordered it and will hopefully receive it this week or so.
Maybe the LP quotes more books. I know I can look for them in NZ, but I don't want to hassle around with all those books while travelling. Just wanna read some overhere and take the LP with me on the plane over.

Greetz,
Haiko

The Lonely Planet dive guide is very brief. There are so Many great dive sites that are not, could not, be listed.
There are not many books written about the diving here in NZ but I will have a look at my library when I get home from work and give you some titles.
A good one is "Poor Knights Wonderland" by Glen Edny. It gives a breif history of the Poor Knights Islands and has photos of the marine life catalogued in groups.

Cheers
Azza
