Uncle Pug:
Hank, I don't want to be the one to spit in your koolaid... but a bp/wing... even one with blue H's all over it... doth not a convert make. :D

Aye, but the longest journey begins with the first dive....errrr step....however grudgingly.

PerroneFord:
There are a number of people around me who will NOT buy
Halcyon gear . . . because they don't want to be seen a sheep.

personally, i find sheep quite charming (don't go there, Colin), particularly
if well dressed in a nice mint sauce...

and *if* i were a sheep, i'd kick you for suggesting there's anything wrong with being a sheep

(do sheep kick?)

Diver 1: Dude, like... you wear Halcyon gear. You're a sheep.

Diver 2: Actually, I am a mountain goat.

Diver 1: No way, dude!

Diver 2: Yes way. Sheep don't wear goatees.

Diver 1: Oh dude... you're right. Nice goatee, by the way.

I've been diving my jacket style BC since January...mostly in a pool for my IDC, but when I got drysuit certified, I kept using it anyway..even though I have over 100 dives on my Pioneer..

Well, I decided to move back to BP/W to see how much weight I could drop with my drysuit and sure enough...about 8lbs...big deal since I am now using 31lbs instead of 39. Not only that, but the freedom of movement and that naked feeling underwater...makes drysuit diving even easier.

The jacket is going back in the closet..except for pool sessions. wouldnt want to get chlorine on my pioneer. :)
