I just got the new Weefine ring light that has a pulse mode (too long to call it a strobe mode). We went out yesterday in the cool waters of Southern California (10C,50 F) and shot a bunch of nudibranchs with it. Worked fine for macro, here is a nice little Tritonia, Oly 30 macro, f7.1, 1/160 sec,). Enjoy
