New User from California

Hello,

I just joined this forum. I'm a newish diver currently in Davis, CA. I finally got around to buying my gear (mostly second-hand) and am looking to get my toe in the cold water around here. I plan to take more classes, but I'm currently certified as an OW diver and looking mainly to get more bottom time.

I'm also looking find some other people in the area to dive with as I don't know anyone here yet who is a current diver (just finding lapsed divers).

Please join my dive club, the North Coast Divers. We have a number of active members in Davis and I'm sure you'll find many welcoming dive buddies.

We dive mainly on the Sonoma and Mendocino coasts. No meetings. No dues. Just diving. www.thenorthcoastdivers.org

Also, check out the diving in Monterey. There, too, you shouldn't have much trouble finding dive buddies. Simply post your plans in advance on the NorCal forum.
