Looks like some nice footage. Thanks for posting.

Im new to the boards, have only been diving 7 months and have been practicing videography. YouTube - Cozumel Underwater Footage

Spectacular. You obviously have:

1) great awareness of animal behavior

2) great editing skills

3) great diving/buoyancy skills (as a still photographer, I know how hard it can be to get that close to an animal without disturbing it). Especially impressive after only 7 months of diving... (more than 200 dives? Nice to live by the beach!!).

Love the macro work especially. What gear are you using? Lights?

Mike

Keep at it!

Thanks for the videos.

I use a Sony HVR-V1U in an equinox housing no lights.. I moved to cozumel mexico and work as a videographer making videos for divers, so I dive 2 times a day. Thanks for all the compliments, im still working on not being as shaky though, there is always current here in cozumel so it makes it hard sometimes.

Ah, V1U is the pro version of the FX7 I use. Great cams for UW. Curious, what is your shooting position ? How do you hold the housing ?

Nice! The lighting on the macro shots looks great, must be pretty shallow, huh? Hard to imagine getting those kinds of colors with ambient light for still photography. I guess that camera has a pretty sensitive sensor, huh?
