Hi guys,

Just signed up with you...looks like a wonderful site. My wife and I have dove all over the caribbean, central america, Australia, and Indonesia. Now we want to try Papua New Guinea. We need to do a land-based trip, and I've narrowed it down to Tufi or Walindi. We are going in November & can only hit one spot. Please give me your imput!
Thanks!
M

I havn't been to Tufi, but I have to Walindi.

Walindi's coral reefs are the healthiest I have ever seen (and many say the world!). November is also a good time of the year to visit weather wise.

Walindi has been operating for over 25 years and has very experienced staff with an excellent reputation.

The amount of conservation effort they have put in - they helped to establish a marine research and education center next door to the resort and they have placed moorings on every dive site, so they don't even use anchors (this includes the liveaboards!)

From what I have heard there is better overall diving at Walindi with coral reefs, sharks etc.

You will definitely have a great time no matter where you go, PNG is an incredible country below and above water.

I recently came across a Walindi Resort group on Facebook that has lots of good pictures and videos, its worth checking out. I hope this helps!
