Hi everyone. This looks like a really great website. I hope to give and get some great information here.

My name is Julie and I live in St. Petersburg, FL. I fell out of diving about 7 years ago and just took a refresher course about 3 weeks ago and have booked a trip to Roatan for April. I can't believe that I let so long go by without doing something that I am so passionate about.

I hope to contribute some great pictures to this site.

Adios,

Julie

No experience needed and it feels great!

Hi Julie, welcome back to the sport and welcome to the board!

I'll chime in with Scott, above, that you should check out the Florida Conch Divers forum. There are lots of divers in Florida and lots of opportunities to jump in with a dive group to make new friends and learn a few new tricks. The conch trips are free and open to the public. Check out their Trips and Happenings forum.

BTW, in case you didn't see it, we have another new member who runs a restaurant at Copan, on the mainland near Roatan. If you get a chance, you might want to say, "Hi"

Best wishes and safe ascents,
