Hello! I'm new to this forum but my husband and I have been diving over 10 years. We will be on a cruise in October, 2012 and we stop in Taormina (Sicily) for one day. Looking for a dive shop that will pick us up at the ship. Also wondering if October is a good time to be diving there.

I'm only OW certified but have logged over 100 dives. Favorite dive spot is the Galapagos Islands (Jan, 2011) but loved Inhambane, Mozambique (Jan, 2006 saw first whale shark and manta rays), the Maldives (Jan, 2007), Manado, Indonesia (Jan, 2008), Bali (September, 2005), Andaman Islands, India (Jan, 2010), Phuket, Thailand (Jan, 2003 and Feb, 2005 right after the tsunami) Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt (Jan, 2009) and all over the Caribbean (Bonaire tops the list). Haven't done any diving in the US yet but look forward to it some day. Only one live aboard so far in the Galapagos. That was great and I hope to do that again.
