I have a couple of questions. I have a Nikon Coolpix 2200 and I can change my white balance. But What do i need to set it on underwater. The other thing is I would like to have just a point and shoot camera to take around locally while i save money for my slr. Can anyone suggest a camera that takes great photos at a reasonable price including a not so expensive housing. I am going to by a Ikelite for my coolpix because they are clearing them out. $200 is a nice number for the housing. Let me know if anyone has taken UW pics with a Coolpix 2200. Thanks everyone for all your help.

Check out the main uw photo area here for recent discussions on "which new camera" - Fuji, Olympus and Canon all have offerings that work very well. There are also those that like the Sealife range.

It is in the Canon forum, but the basics apply to any brand.
