new to photo

I am new to photo and was thinking about getting a GoPro. I am a new diver and was wondering if anyone had any experiance with one? I will mostly be diving during the day and 60 ft and up. Dont know how important flash is? Thx

on the website it says you can set it up to take a picture every 2/5/10 seconds. I was thinking of getting a head mount and just wear it on my forehead. And also do video's as well. I just dont know about lightning?
