Just wanted to drop in and say hello,

Been lurking for about a month now. My wife and I love to dive (me more so then her I think). We've been certified since 2000 and have made a point to go diving at least once a year. We both would like to do more but one thing I have learned is diving is expensive :D. We've got between 30 and 50 dives under our belts and prefer to do warm water diving. We're making a trip to Morehead city in NC June 10th for a charter with Olympus and will be diving in West Palm Beach later this summer for the 2nd time. There are some very useful threads on these forums that I've gained a wealth of knowledge from! Thanks everyone!

Where are you located? We're looking at getting down to WPB or the Keys shortly, as well (and also prefer warm sites).
 
I'm in Savannah, GA. On Wilmington Island to be exact... 5 min from beach. I just got off my first set of rental gear purchased and have got a new scubapro BC classic and mk25/S600. I'm pretty pumped about the NC dive trip.

Last time I was in WPB the surface conditions were pretty nasty. But the diving was spectacular. It was our first open water dive and the dive instructor that took us out fed us a big ole breakfast of eggs and bacon (bad choice) :D.

I'm going to WPB with my brother and my wife at the end of July right before Lobster season opens up in the keys (July 23rd I think). And I'm trying to convince my wife that we can make the short drive to the Keys for a few days after wrapping things up in West Palm ;).

if you get a chance you should try diving Jupiter Fl it close to WPB and it is a different kind of diving a little deeper slightly more current but really big fish water temps are the same as WPB and visibility usually 65+

I will be heading to NC in August to dive with the Sandtigers! Can't wait for that trip! As the guys said above...Jupiter is an awesome drift dive! It has been my fav so far!
