new to this kind of forum, been certified since 1977, and love diving. Any help with navigating this forum will be appreciated. My husband and I love diving, and would love to talk with others that share our passion, but don't know what to do to be able to talk to others

Well, there are a few options:
There is scubachat, good for talking to whoever's online about whatever's on your mind
There is also private messages. You can click on the avatar and click on the communication tab to get to private messages.
Then there are the good old forums....just find a suitable topic and post.
It sounds like you are very experienced, and would probably get entertainment out of this more than anything, I would suggest the scuba chat tab up top ;)
You don't want to hear questions from noobs like me ;)

:happywave: and welcome to :sblogo:

looking forward to you joining in the threads and contributing.... ive found that the easiest way to start chatting to people online and since joining SB i have dived with many SB'ers from all over the world!

cheers
