New to diving

Hello Everyone
My husband and me are new to diving. He has joined the Open water certification course and we are headed to Maui in Feb for our certification. Since it our first trip to hawaii, I am clueless about which dive site to choose etc. Any recommendations will be helpful. I am also in search of a good underwater camera..

there is a load of info on this site-check out the forums for hawaii!!!!!
as far as cameras-i suck at picture taking and there are gurus here who i know would help!
have a blast on your vacation-and when you come back,the great lakes are like RIGHT THERE!
