Hey everyone!

This is my first post on SB. I just finished my open water cert. and am looking to meet some new people to dive with. I was the only one in my class so I really havent met any other new divers around the NW suburbs of Chicago, but would really like to!

I am going to get my advanced OW in a month or so, but in the mean time want to get some fun dives in. So just post if youre in the same boat as me or just want to say hi.

Looking forward to posting more...peace.

Happy to see another Chicagoan on the board. Check out the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew forum. A lot of us hang out there. We do a lot of local diving. Hope to meet you sometime at the quarry, Pearl Lake, or on Lake Michigan.

Welcome ,
If you don't have any plans for this Saturday am. , some of us will be meeting down at the Haigh for some dives.

thanks for the invite Jim, can't make it down there this weekend though. I'll try and make it down there sometime in the next 3 weeks or so.

What is everyone's opinion on the best places to dive in the Chicagoland area?

welcome aboard
