just joined the forum after a move to china for business which will hopefully open up some more chances to explore asia under water. looking for tips on agents, resorts in the region (esp south china seas, Malaysia etc) & especially small well run dive resort with a good environmental attitude and a love for life and the locals rather than just money!!!

Welcome aboard. Where in China are you located? There are numerous flights direct to Okinawa from there, diving here is awesome. Worked for almost a year in Shanghai and Hainan developing diving in China quite a cool place to work for a short time.
 
Hi , I am based in Shanghai. I've read the diving in Hainan is principally rubbish now (unless yr a complete novice. I only know of Okinawa from the 'Karate Kid' movies!! (sorry) where else have you been that would compair to it and can you recommend an operator / resort?
