Hi everyone
My name is Marcel and I recently completed my Advanced Nitrox cert through IANTD. Not sure if this qualifies me as a Tec diver but I don't think it does.

I'm planning to go to full trimix in the future and possibly cave diving but we'll see :yeahbaby:
I've been doing recreational diving for around 6 years and have only recently been introduced to the dark side

I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here.

Welcome aboard :) I am also planning to take tec diving courses (with TDI) when i finish my current PADI non-professional courses.

I’d definitely get more dives under your belts.

It doesn’t matter how many dives you have necessarily, it’s mainly about your understanding of deco theory, your competency in the water - buoyancy, trim, communication, taskloading, etc, and - your MINDSET towards diving.

But normally, to get to a level of high skill which you must have to undertake a tec course (btw it all tec divers are good divers) , you need to have a lot of dives.

EDIT: not all technical divers are good divers

Even more reason to get in the water more :D
I appreciate the advice. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
