I was thinkning about buying Suunto D9. But upon reading this news on divernet.com, it seems that Suunto will be releasing a new version soon. Has anyone heard anything about this new computer? What will be new about it?

Here is the link to the article that mentioned the new D9: Diving News

So, what is new about it?

Maybe it was new in "early 2007," when the article was anticipating its release, and it is no longer new in March, 2011. I wouldn't rely much on the credibility of a site hawking replica watches.

I love the computer translation: 'oppression transmitter," "avenue amount," etc.

The attached blog post is really old, its citing the Vyper2 being out in early 2007. The Vyper has since been released and then quickly replaced with the Vyper Air.

Darn, I missed that the article is so old. I was just looking at the date on the top of the page.

Still, divernet thinks that Suunto will be releasing the new D9 at LIDS. Has anyone hear anything about it? There seems to be a lot of sales rep's and dive shop owners around this forum.
