New subforums for the Greater Caribbean area?

OK guys & gals,

we're looking at expanding the number of subforums in the Greater Caribbean area.

It's probably a bit too much to create one for every island.

So...

which forums are missing that you cannot live without?

Please let us know.

Turks & Caicos...please....haven't seen all that much info on them....but then I may not be looking the the right spot....

You could probably combine Puerto Rico (PR) with Dominican Republic (DR)...if you don't think each deserves its own Subforum.

how about having an eastern caribbean forum

That way you incorporate mostly all the smaller islands ie. st. lucia, st vincent, barbados, grenada, dominica, antigua, anguilla, martinique guadeloupe etc.. and you may have one for the larger islands eg. combine jamaica, DR, PR

That seems like a really good idea...Including St. Martin/Sint Maarten and Saba.

Also a Virgin Islands forum - both USVI AND BVI'S since there's quite a lot of interconnection between them, both diving and non-diving. (St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John - Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Anegada)

What about Trinidad/Tobago? And Cuba? Seems like there's a growing interest there.

trinidad could be grouped into the eastern caribbean.. and cuba can go with PR,DR and jamaica

I guess if you are combining islands maybe THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN FORUM AND THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN FORUM

Eastern Caribbean should be fine... but Something a lil more for the Western Caribbean.. how about just something like LArger Caribbean Islands

How about their official name for the groupings: Greater Antilles and Lesser Antilles...this is Wikipideas definition of the Antilles:

The Antilles are divided into two major groups: the "Greater Antilles" to the north including the larger islands of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and Puerto Rico; and the smaller "Lesser Antilles" on the southeast — comprising the northerly Leeward Islands, the southeasterly Windward Islands, and the Leeward Antilles just north of Venezuela. The Bahamas, though part of the West Indies, are generally not included among the Antillean islands.
