Hey everyone,

Checking in as a new member. My name is Mike, and I am working on my OW certification in Connecticut. I've always been interested in SCUBA, and did my first "resort dive" in Key West a couple months ago and was hooked! Saved up some money, and here I am training with the Scuba Shack in CT.

I am a corporate pilot and travel frequently to Marathon and Key West, Florida. I usually fly single pilot (no co-pilot) so i'll be showing up for dive trips alone and have to be paired with a buddy, so if anyone is in the area, and is cool with having a newbie tag alone, please let me know!

I'm not the most active on this forum but check in from time to time, but let me be one of the first to say welcome aboard! I usually check in on spearfishing planet, but there's definitely more to diving than spearfishing. Forums are a great place to learn (and laugh). Especially when it comes to being aware of potential problems. Good place to start.
