Just got open water cert threw SSI and looking to go diving in Southern California.

Looking for a recommendation on finding dive sites what have people been using.

I haven't found any good recommendations yet

If your are into physical resources, there are several books that you can purchase. One such book is "A Diver's Guide to Southern California's Best Beach Dives"

There is also a monthly magazine, which you can find in most dive shops:

Lastly, the county of LA host programs to educate divers about safe shore diving. They are hosting a free clinic in May called 3R's that teaches you how to be a better SoCal shore diver. Additional sessions coming this summer.
