What's the shutter/focus lag like when compared with the DC1200 in comparable circumstances?

Instant fixed focus, 12 inches to Infinity (30cm to Infinity. 10X Close-up lens optional accessory. The 10x Close Up Lens gives the Micro HD camera a focusing range of 6 to 24 inches (15 to 61cm)

Ahh, so there's no autofocus at all? That would certainly get rid of the slow-ish' focus problem (I shoot a DSLR topside) I experience with my DC1200 ;-)

Any idea when the Micro 2.0 will be released? I've ordered a complete SeaLife setup from my local dive shop for a trip in early January and I really hope it's in by then. B&H states they will begin shipping December 24. Is that a reliable date?
