I went to San Carlos, Mexico, over the weekend and did my first night dive, did my first underwater photography, and passed my stress and rescue certification tests. I have to get the photos onto my computer, but it looks like I got several good shots for the first attempt. The night dive didn't go well due to very poor visibility from too many divers on the bottom at once. We had five of us in one pack and the dive cons kept us in one place too long, so the water never cleared very well. Will have to try that again and hope for better conditions.

My dive buddy and I did our open water tests for stress and rescue yesterday in bad conditions. It was very windy and the surge was pretty big. I even got knocked off my feet right after getting back on the boat due to the waves. But, we both made it through and both passed.

So overall, it was a good dive trip and I got in five more dives to raise my experience total to 18 dives. My goal is to get in the 50 dives I need for master diver by the end of the year. If everything goes well, I might be able to do it.

Great job, and congrats. You have probably reached a good stage to bulk up your experience, and you'll learn a lot doing that. Best of luck going onwards and upwards with your training.
