The fisheye Japanese web site has new pictures and info on the S95

FIX S95

I did a google translate, but I think looking at the pictures is best.

They are pushing the fact that all control functions can be done with the right hand since they moved the front control wheel to the right.

Also of note:
Ports on the front, M52 lens mount standard size. Macro-enabled, it can be wide lenses. "FIX S90 close-up lens for easier" to develop plans for using the adapter.

I prefer the front ring control on the left, sorry.

I would prefer a removal port adapter.

I don't like the new optical adapter at all as it will leave the flash window exposed and require covering with electrical tape, no thanks.

I do like the rear control layout and latch better.

If the UWL-04 works better supposedly, great, since it already is just dandy with the FIX90/SeaRec95 but better is better if indeed it is better.

Macro options for other brand lenses or wide angles?

I dunno, this is a lot like the S95 itself, yawn.

I don't think I like the rails at the top and bottom of the window. I think they could cause shadowing on the screen, and just clutter up the window.

I have this problem with an old dive computer the screen is recessed and the edges cast a shadow and make it hard to see some of the numbers depending on the available light. Might not be an issue since the screen is a light source itself.

Do the RecSea s95 and the FIX s90 have a removable port adapter?

The rails can be removed.
