New OWD Certification

Just finished my OWD certification today. Did 4 dives this weekend up at Sund Rock in Hoodsport, WA. I really enjoyed it.

I had done several resort dives at Sandals St. Lucia and Sandals Antigua nine or ten years ago. After OWD class, I realized how much they don't teach you in the resort classes.

Have a two week vacation coming up in November down near Tulum. Looking forward to getting more experience down there. Hoping to get another dive or two in the northwest before then.

Congratulations! Very true about the resort classes. but they are a good way to try diving without the time and money commitment of full certification.

Have fun in Tulum--looks like there is some good diving there.
