Hello ALL!!!

I thought i would take a minute and introduce myself to the board, considering I just registered. I've been lurking these forums for quite a while now while doing research on equipment, travel and techniques and thought it is time to register and give back where I can (reviews etc). What a great resource this board is!!!

I came across SB in February of this year when I started researching on what is required to actually start scuba diving. I always wanted to scuba, but never seemed to find time to actually get the course done, so in March of this year I completed my OW on a weekend course and the very next week I was diving in Bahamas (Shark feeding dives with Stuart' Cove were my first 2 logged dive after completing my OW referral dives in the AM :D ).

It is now November and I have 24 dives in. I was lucky enough to dive Cozumel in July (and whale shark swim in Isla Mujeres), spent a week on Bonaire in September (shore diving rocks!!!!) and have a trip scheduled to leave for Roatan on December 10th for a week. I AM HOOOKED to say the least !!!! I picked all these places based on the reviews\trip reports by SB members and for that I am eternally grateful.

So once again "HELLLO ALL" and big THANK YOU to all the contributors.

You're still allowed to exhale through your nose if it makes you more comfortable. :D

Nothing wrong with breathing from the mouth!

I notice you're in Toronto and you've done most of your dives in tropical countries. I've heard that Ontario has a ton of amazingly preserved wrecks, so you should check them out so that you can dive more often and likely cheaper. Probably going to need some drysuit training, though.

Hope to try out Ontario diving during next summer, I hear St.Lawrence river is great for wreck diving here. Perhaps I can do my AOW there.
