You're right. It's not the same drive. The one pipedope is speaking of is in the standard 1.8" format. The new one from Toshiba is only .85" format. I think pipedope was just sharing the info sense the topic of microdrives was brought up, as relevent to current microdrive users. I doubt that there is a device designed to use the .85" drive yet that is in the mass market. But it's oohhh sooo cool!
