Hi there,

My name is Sebastian and I'm from the Netherlands, picked up diving 10 yrs ago and got certified with PADI (advanced OW).

About 1 year after that I got in a pretty heavy motorcycle accident in which, among others, both my lungs got punctured an I was told that I could never dive again :-(.

Planned a holiday on Bonaire this year and, stubborn as I am, went back to the hospital to check if there was any way to go back down again... Long story short everything was in working order so I actually can dive again.

Now I'm on the end of my holiday, did 11 dives and got totally psyched again so I will be planning the next trip soon (won't dive in the Netherlands cause I hate cold).

Looking forward to gathering information and perhaps someday share some too :)

Welcome and congratulations! Glad to hear you healed well and are back to diving. :) Way to go.
