Hey, name is Darin.

Im from Victoria, BC.. this is my first year of diving - have completed OW & AOW. Am currently studying for Deep and Rescue certs.

I've been out trying to dive as much as possible since I finished my AOW in August, and im at about 25 dives.

I'm rocking some new gear - SeaQuest ProQD - wish i went straight to the bp/w setup, but whatever. HP 130, Apeks DIN XTX200 w/ AquaLung Oct & SPG.
Whites PolarFlex dry suit.

And just recently i picked up a set of Force Fin pro's.. which im still up in the air about.. but ive only got 3 dives on them so i'll stick with them for a while and see how i like them in the long run.

I think thats about it for now.. Ive been reading the site a LOT.. tons of good stuff on here, though the site is bloody SLLLOOWWW!!:dork2:
 
Oh yes.. and I forgot to mention the best part.. I seem to possess FANTASTIC Octopus luck. Almost every time I dive we see a Giant Pacific or Ruby Octo!
 
none yet, only shore dives around victoria.. and shore and boat dives from Salt Spring Island..

I'm REALLY looking forward to some of the Nanaimo dives, as well as Port Hardy which i hear is rediculous!
