Hi

I have been diving about 5 years, mostly local diving and a few trips to Hawaii and Cozumel. I enjoy Willow Beach,The gorge and Blue Lake (sometimes). I would like to dive more often but sometimes don't have anyone to dive with. I would appreciate news of any local diving trips I might be welcome to join or good club dives. Thank you for reading my post

Welcome to the board. There are a fair number of divers in the Salt Lake metro area. A few of the dive shops are pretty good about sponsoring local dive-a-long trips and getting the word out. There is one this weekend in Flaming Gorge. I think Dive Addicts in Draper is sponsoring one next weekend in St. George.

Hi Krush,

Welcome to scubaboard. Let’s see what we can do.
You may want to visit Rocky Mountain Oyster Section for more ‘local’ information.
What about Desert Scuba there in Price. It’s been a while since I’ve been in there so I’m not 100% sure they are still open. Next stop would be Scuba Ted’s in Springville or Atlantis Divers in Vernal…depends on the direction you’re traveling.
I do know that Scuba Utah out of SLC is having a dive-a-long to the ‘Gorge’ on Aug 2-3. (See topic in RMO section) I’ll be a Bear Lake on Aug 9 & 10, you’re more than welcome to join us.

Thank you for the tips Kevin, I might have to take a look at the dive next weekend.

Rogue, Thank you for the info and the invitation, I will see if one of those dives will work out for me. Desert Scuba in Price closed. Jay Taylor the owner bought Dive U in Orem and renamed it Desert Scuba. I did go on some outings with Dive U when Tom had the store. I looked at the RMO, I think I will see about joining the club!

welcome aboard
