Hi, my name is Theresa. I am a relatively new diver with 14 dives. I got certified in Maui in September 2008. While on vacation there and decided to "take the plunge," so to speak, since my hubby had been certified since February 2006. Plus, I had a GREAT instructor and the water was beautiful. My open water dives found me doing the usual instruction, but also swimming alongside turtles and seeing great sea life. We just dove the Homestead Crater today in UT to get practice before our upcoming cruise. I forgot how fun it was to really breathe under water!

Theresa, welcome to ScubaBoard. It's always good to practice before an trip if you've been out of the water for an extended time. Good call on the Crater. Nice and warm.
Becareful around this place it's big and you can get lost in all the information. If you want more of a local flavor you may want to check in at Rocky Mountain Oysters - ScubaBoard from time to time.
Enjoy the cruise.
