Hey everyone!

I'm new to diving and to these forums. I'm in the Sacramento, CA area and can't wait to start hitting some of the local dive spots!! :)

Welcome PN. Monterey, Carmel, north coast, and Lake Tahoe are generally "the local dive spots." The Cypress Sea out of Monterey has a "Friendly Friday" for new divers; two dives in the bay with a 60 fsw max depth. My daughter did a Cypress Sea FF as her first two dives after getting certified and loved it.

Have fun!

Welcome to the wonderful dive world. Check out Dolphin Scuba in Sacramento. Great group of people and lots of diving activities through the shop.

Funny enough...that's where I'm currently getting my certification through. Glad to hear the positive feedback on 'em.
