Hi I'm new in here and new in diving... I want to know some info before I take my first dive.. I love swimming but lately I always wonder what it fills when you dive below 10"? and see what's below.... Nice to meet you all...

Welcome to diving. When I dive I enjoy the relaxation and ability to be underwater and breathing. There are many sites to see depending on where you dive. You notice color changes as you go deeper. Exploring new places and practicing your buoyancy skills is another thing that I still enjoy. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Diving is like visiting another planet or another dimension. It's a place where your everyday world is shut out as you "fly" through coral canyons and across the bow of a sunken ship. As you hover on the edge of a wall you see dolphins playing off in the "blue." You look down and just in sight is a huge school of sharks. You swim in close to the coral and you see yet another, tiny world of strange creatures. Take a look at some of the pictures posted here and you'll begin to get an idea.

i started as a swimmer and then snorkeler for years. Check out my dive blog, it has tons of cool writeups on all things diving
