i wouldnt be a fan of this for an actual dive, but long deco hangs would be a bit more enjoyable with one of these...an ipod, a flat surface, and a deck of cards and you might as well not come up!

people with ipods/mp3/walkmans - whatever, annoy me on trains/planes as they have it so loud i can hear it

underwater i might just have to test out my trusty rusty knife

i guess divers on a long deco might appreciate this but i dont

Hell, why even go diving? Just stay at home, listening to the ipod. You can save a lot of money.

It's a bit pricy IMHO. I like music, but it's not something I'd lay down $350 for. Especially when I could put that $$ towards a new lens or something...

I wonder what it sounds like? Did they test it at depth for sound quality? And most of all, how are you going to hear sharks sneak up on you? What's next, underwater cell phones?

I don't know about anyone else, but my brain is distracted by the many other cool things that are going on around me when I'm diving. After all, that's what I'm there to enjoy.

Aw com'on ya'll where's yer' sense of adventure... imagine slogging through the surge to Handel's "Water Music"... imagine doing a winter quarry dive to Debussy's "La Mer"... or a pool dive to "Splish, Splash I was taking a bath"??? Ya' gotta' have a LITTLE imagination here...
