New Houston Dive Show Announced ??

I just received this information through a newsfeed from www.diverwire.com This is the only info given. Anyone heard anything else on this event?

New Show slated for Houston in January, 2008

January 26 & 27, 2008 are the dates set for the New Texas Dive Show- Houston.

New Venue, New Location, Better Rates.

The admission fee for the Show is set at only $10.00. However if attendees visit their local Dive Center prior to the show they can receive a 50% coupon. Coupons for the show admission discount are only available at Local Dive Centers.

Exhibitors will be please with the new Show Booth Rates, which will include unique shipping options to other consumer dive shows.

Parking will be free to all that are attending.

It's being put on by Dive Chronicles (magazine).

They are doing the Atlanta/Georgia Dive Show this weekend in 'Hot-lanta.

It's got a list of exhibitors which are a mix of manufacturers, local dive shops, and travel bookers. I'm betting the Houston show will be similar in format but with regional changes.

I'm guessing Dive Chronicles is doing several dive shows regionally in areas that could really use a good dive show and don't have one. So hats off to them for organizing the events. It seems that have got a good list of exhibitors for a first show. it could turn into something really big.

You're right about Dive Chronicles working on different regional shows around the country. I know that the Atlanta Show went very well last weekend and that the Houston showed planned for January is receiving plenty of interest.

I think there will likely be more announcements of shows in the near future.
