I leave in a week (for the Caribbean) and prob. know the answer to his but looking for personal opinion and sorry to say do not have a ton of time to search the whole board so really appreciate your quick help.

The set up with be Ikelite for a still camera with good video capabilities (and manual white balance) along with their Pro lite (15 watt high intensity, Beam 45°, 510 lumens, 4500-5500K Daylight) and a blue water filter (will shoot video and stills)

I read you can only do the red filter OR a light.

Dives will not be deep so thinking just go with the filter.

Even at 40 feet there is enough light for just a filter? Or at some point I try the light with no filter???

At what depth do I need the filter – say there is a turtle at 3 feet – no filter?

Can I remove then reinstall the filter underwater on Ikelite housing? Trick / method for that?

Thanks for your help.
