Hi,

I just completed my open water certification this past weekend at Dutch Springs in PA. I'm interested in meeting other to dive locally and practice skills. I am going on a crusi to the carribbean in mid July. I have 4 dives scheduled then. Prior to certification I did 3 discovery dives in cozumel. The first was a bit scary, but the second and third hooked me.

I'm 34 - Male. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I can dive during the weekdays with some notice.

I am going to get Nitrox certified this week probably.

Welcome to the board and to diving! Congratulations on your certification.

Dive clubs are a great way to meet other divers, dive locally, and learn from the experience of the regular speakers at the evening meetings. Check out our club, the NYC Sea Gypsies, and stop by on a Wednesday night sometime!

In addition to the evening meetups, we have a great schedule of local dives in the ocean, Dutch Springs, and shore diving, as well as a trip to the Florida Keys at the end of the season (all info on the website).

Feel free to PM me if you have other questions...

Mike
