Hello, my wife and I just became certified here in Washington State. Look forward to many more underwater adventures and to what this board has to offer.

Welcome to diving, and to :sblogo:!

You might want to check out the Orca Bait subforum for threads about PNW diving. Hope to see you at a cold water site some day soon!

Brrrrrrr....... I too live in WA. I recently got certified in Florida! The water is warm here. Last dive temp was 82. Whats the water like there? Where are you diving?

Got certified with our open water dives out of Mukilteo. We used dry suits, so it was way more comfortable than we expected. Visibility wasn't great, but this time of year is hit or miss up here. We are looking forward to giving Keystone a try. Heard good thing about it!
We're headed down to Florida in November. Where did you dive down there? Any recommendation? We will be near central Florida.

I spent some time at Ft. Lewis back in the 90's. Water is cold there but I have some great memories of some great dives in the Sound. I enjoyed diving Titlow Beach and the narrows (drift dive). I saw numerous large Wolf Eels and large octopus. Diving there is different than the diving I do in Florida. Have fun...
