Howdy out there from the land of 10,000 lakes. Been diving for a few years both uncertified(while in the service) and recently fully certified(PADI advanced open water certification while in the Bahamas). I have heard many say PADI is a joke but it’s a foot in the door to basic understanding of diving principles. Looking forward to learning from this communities vast knowledge of experience.

We are going to the Bahamas and my daughter is looking to get certified. She will be doing the classwork and pool ahead of time, she will just need the 4 dives. What company did you go through and were you happy with them?
