this is the first forum I have ever joined! I've been a diver for 3 years, but haven't done much diving in that time. I'd really like to expand my experiences and get more into diving! Currently I'm about to start my advanced course right here on the OBX, and I'm planning a dive trip for this fall, but can't quite decide where to go. I'm thinking either playa del carmen, mexico or utila, honduras! any suggestions?

Welcome to the board. Dove with Outer Banks Dive Center about a year ago... great diving, great bunch to work with. Can't wait to come back down in October and do it again.

Don't know much about Nags Head Diving, is that with Bob D.? You'll enjoy the diving up there. I can be a challenge sometimes. NC isn't known for easy diving, bu there are great sites. I too, dive with Outer banks diving in Nags Head and love those guys. There is a local club that meets at LaFogatas called the Outer Banks Wreck Diving Club. They have a facebook page you can track them down on.
