Just had to share... I bought a pair of ScubaPro Jet fins today, size XL... the shop had the XXL's as well, WOW that is one big foot pocket... I wear a size 10-10.5 and my foot would have been swimming inside the fin.

Also got my XL Halcyon Spring heel straps for the fins... I was going to hold off and just use the SP fin straps for a while, but trying to operate the straps I realized I'd have a headache the first day of diving...

Installing the springs was a minor adventure but well worth it....

Got my dry gloves back too, after numerous wet dives with the Diving Concepts crushed neoprene I had Hood Sport 'N dive replace them with blue gloves, dry hands here I come :D

I can't wait to try everything out... too bad my next "scheduled" dive isn't until March when I go through DIR-F... I love the book, I'm surprised how much of it I already knew, but still reading through it provides some great insight, esspecially into what JJ was really thinking and the philosiphy... it reads (at least to me) to not be as hardcore, anal, everyone else sucks, as I thought it would.

Anyone wanna buy a pair of Tusa X-Pert Zoom split fins, or my old Aeris Velocities with Manta Spring Straps... to sell or not to sell that is the question, tis better to have 3 pairs of fins, 2 pairs, or one pair which will last me forever... muhahahahahaha
<edit due to complaint> :)
