New FFM purchases and 1st stages SP MK25

hey all!

Glad to finally join the full face mask family.

Picked up a couple of Guardians stealths with buddy phones

Have yet to dive them but have a few pool training days setup soon

Feedback on 1st stages.

I Currently have the Scuba Pro MK25 1st stage. Any problems with these and the guardian SRG-1 2nd stage ?


Any feedback would be awesome !

the Guardian wants a "standard" 135psi IP, which is what the MK25 should be putting out. For optimal breathing you'll want to have the Guardian tuned specifically to your MK25, but it will breathe fine stock

I read somewhere in here that high flow 1st stages can have a “whistling “ effect over comms/buddy phone.

can you inhale while you are talking?

also the first stages only flow as much as you demand so whether they are high flow or not they'll only flow what you need
