In order to make the marketplace more efficient we are now allowing users to close their own threads in this forum. As soon as your transaction is completed meaning you sold an item, bought an item or completed a trade, simply click the “SOLD” button in the upper right corner of the thread. This will lock the thread and prevent anyone else from posting indicating the ad is expired. If for some reason your transaction does not go through you can open the item back up by clicking the “NOT SOLD” button which will appear on locked/completed threads.

Hopefully this tool will make it easier for buyers and sellers to navigate the marketplace and find deals without having to wonder if someone sold that yet!

This feature is available only in the Gear / Equipment Classifieds, Individual & Group Trips, Photo Gear and Services forums. To tell if a item is closed/sold look for the image at the top of the thread.
