New Feature: Event Roll Call

Users posting public events will now be able to turn on “roll call”, a new feature which allows users to rsvp to any user-submitted event. This feature makes it possible to keep track of who is attending a particular event be it a convention or a group dive. Attending users show up in a list for others to publicly see. It is highly recommended that any open event take use of this feature although the poster of the event retains the ability to enable or disable this option per event.

When you post a new event a checkbox "roll call" is listed at the bottom of the page right before the submit button, check it.

Simply head over to the calendar at http://www.scubaboard.com/calendar.php? and in the lower right corner add the event according to the type (single day, ranged for multiple days or recurring).

Cool... I just added roll call to the Ginnie Springs BBQ and Dive Party...
Might want to check the wording tho where you click on roll call
"Use roll call. If used users can specify that they will be attending this event."

I just updated the Gilboa Meet and Greet next weekend with this feature. Let's see if it gets used.
