Hello to all. I'm Christy, Im new to the boards, still relatively new to diving too. Been certified just over 3yrs have have been on 2 big dive trips so far.
Diving for me was a gift from my new husband and his parents as all 3 have been diving for several years. I was scared to begin with but am now hooked.
Was hoping to head to Florida this year too but we shall have to see how this oilspill sets things up.
From what I can tell I am definitely a dork diver. Don't care if my gear matches or not and am out for the fun, not the hullabaloo. And love to think of fun things to do on our dives.Last year we had great fun with photography in Pennecamp, in key largo. Ill have to show some pics when Im over the 5 post requirement as out last trip proved to be one heck of alot of fun.

Anyway nice to meet all.

Thanks Teamcasa, certainly will. I found out about DDs last summer. I am most definitely in it for the fun and have so far had great fun.

A late welcome aboard scubaboard to you fellow dorker. glad to have you with us.

I think posting a welcome so long after the introductory post is exactly what a True Dork Diver does.

Maybe there needs to be one of those rubber bracelet things.... WWDDD (What Would Dork Diver Do)...
