I'm a trap Lobsterman on Cape Cod looking to dive for bugs. Looking for any suggestions on better hunting. Especially how to find them, not looking for anyone to share hidden spots, just some basics.

Diving for bugs is really not to dificult, rocky areas in Cape Cod Bay usualy produce. Lobsters like to find places to hide, just look in openings in rocks, holes in peat or under any obstruction and you are bound to find them. You just grab them by the carpus, check for eggs, check for a V notch, and gage them if it all checks out bag it. One easy area everyone knows about is Sandwich Town Beach, a shallow dive, a good amount of lobster but definately not where you score big. At least on the cape, Race Point is a good place, drift right around 40 to 50 ft along the wall where the thermocline is and you are bound to get some good ones, also the wrecks off of Monomy have lots of bugs, huge bugs.
