Hi all! Did my PADI OWD pool work last year in Minneapolis and the referral courses in Kauai in late February at Koloa Landing. Dove at Molikini twice the next week but the 3rd/4th dives were cancelled due to weather so I have six(!) total dives under my belt and really just confused as to what exactly to pursue next.
I have a lot of questions about how to approach further training at this point. Questions about gear and critiques of some recent purchases. Questions about diving in the PNW in general as I am new both to diving and to this area. Is it best to start rattling these off here or should I start new threads about various questions in their respective subforums?
We have trips coming up where I have opportunities to dive and would appreciate any advice as to how best approach these in terms of training vs. just enjoying the dives and working on skills.
Have learned a lot from lurking these forums and chat already.
